Craig R. Dunkin

Craig R. Dunkin is the firm's fourth generation owner and has served as president since 1988.

A graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson and Indiana University, Craig joined the company in 1970 when he began working as a journeyman brick mason. He spent three years working in the field before joining his father in the office to take over most of the estimating tasks.

A leader in his profession, community, and church, he is a past president of the Associated General Contractors of Indiana and has also served as a board member of the Associated General Contractors of America. He is the past chairman of the Central Indiana Construction Advancement Program and a past president of the Madison County Contractors Association.

Craig is a former member and treasurer of the Anderson Rotary Club, currently a board member and past president of the Gateway Association, and is active at the Madison Park Church of God. He is currently serving on the board of directors of the Center for Mental Health of Madison County and serves on the advisory board of Dove Harbor. He formerly served on the state board of United Cerebral Palsy of Indiana, is a past chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Anderson and Madison County, and has served for many years as a United Way volunteer.


Allan Browning
Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer

Allan Browning has, in a way, been part of the firm since before his birth. His grandfather, Maurice Browning, joined the firm in 1952, and Allan's father, three uncles and several cousins have all worked for the company over the years since then.

Allan officially joined W.R. Dunkin & Son in 1984 as a general laborer, and in 1987 joined Carpenters Local 1016 as a journeyman carpenter. A product of Ball State University, he worked his way up the ranks as a foreman and project superintendent before becoming a project manager in 1997. He then served as vice-president of project management before being named vice-president and chief operating officer in January 2007. and is now in charge of the firm's day-to-day operations.

Allan and his wife, Beth, live in Pendleton, have four children and are active in Madison Park Church of God.
